One man. Two crafts.
Mark Docherty is an actor, stand-up, producer and director based in Houston, Texas. He's a native of Dundee, Scotland, and he travelled the world before settling in the Lone Star State.
On screen he has played detectives, doctors, peddlers and police officers across more than two dozen films and shorts, after training with Texas acting teacher Gary Chason. Behind the camera he produced the thriller Turning the Hands of Time and Chason's script Voodoo Doll, both on Amazon Prime, and he composes, edits and builds visual effects for his own films.
On stage it's just him, a microphone and the tartan jacket.
